CODE OF CONDUCT

FOR COACHES

  • Promote fair play, integrity, and good sportsmanship at all times.

  • Teach respect for teammates, opponents, officials, and the game.

  • Provide a safe, inclusive, and fun atmosphere for all players.

  • Never engage in or tolerate verbal abuse, physical confrontations, or bullying.

  • Refrain from arguing with referees and always model respectful behavior.

  • Communicate with players and parents in a professional, constructive manner.

  • Abide by all league rules, regulations, and decisions made by officials and league management.


FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS

  • Support my child by being a positive role model.

  • Encourage good sportsmanship by showing respect for players, coaches, officials, and other spectators.

  • Never coach from the sidelines or interfere with the coaching staff.

  • Refrain from using abusive or inappropriate language.

  • Let coaches coach, referees officiate, and kids play.

  • Contact the league professionally if any concerns arise, and avoid confrontational behavior.

  • Ensure that my child arrives on time and prepared for all practices and games.

FOR SPECTATORS

  • Cheer positively and support all players, regardless of the team.

  • Never use foul or abusive language toward players, officials, coaches, or other fans.

  • Respect the decisions made by referees and league officials.

  • Remain in designated spectator areas and not interfere with gameplay or operations.

  • Be an ambassador of sportsmanship and respect for the sport of hockey.

VIOLATIONS & CONSEQUENCES

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in the following actions, at the discretion of the league:

  • Verbal or written warning

  • Removal from games or premises

  • Suspension from future league activities

  • Permanent ban from the league (in cases of severe or repeated violations)
